Privacy notice
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This notice explains how MJB Intelligence (Pty) Ltd (“MJB Intelligence”, “we”) handles personal information collected through mjbintelligence.com, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who is responsible
MJB Intelligence (Pty) Ltd, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is the responsible party. For any privacy question or request, email hello@mjbintelligence.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), and the message you send.
- Email: anything you choose to include if you email us directly.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider automatically receives basic request data such as IP address and browser type, used to deliver and secure the site.
Providing information is voluntary, but we can't reply to an enquiry without a way to contact you.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage that engagement. We don't sell your information, add you to mailing lists, or use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, some of which process data outside South Africa under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Formspree (United States) — receives contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- Google — Firebase Hosting serves the website, and Google Workspace handles our email.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and deleted when no longer needed — unless we go on to work together, in which case records are kept for as long as the engagement and any legal obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email hello@mjbintelligence.com and we'll respond promptly.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
